Finatal are partnering with a $900m revenue manufacturing business which has been carved out of a recognizable corporate. The brand has a distinguished offering in the market, and strong recognition across the US. The business continues to scale through both organic growth, and acquisition activity. The business was acquired by a reputable mid-market private equity fund and has since embarked on a professionalization project. Reporting into a capable and sector savvy CFO, the Finance Director for the manufacturing division will be responsible for FP&A, strategic planning, capital investment expenditure, and critically assess existing processes and controls to elevate the function.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Partnering with a Plant Controller, this hire will have oversight across the Division, and business partner with the team and have a positive influence to elevate the finance function.
• Critically assess existing processes, controls and systems and hands-on in elevating them.
• This hire must be comfortable assessing data, and utilizing it to make informed decisions alongside the CFO.
• Strong strategic planning, forward looking, and analysis capabilities.
• Partner with the CFO to lead the continued professionalization process.

Requirements

• MBA, or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading a Finance organization in a similar industry or environment.
• Experience working in a manufacturing business
• Familiarity with ERP systems, and upgrades
