Overview

The Team Lead is responsible for directing a cohesive sales team, establishing expectations, and building relationships with segment leadership across various industries to identify cross-sell opportunities and deliver exceptional client service. The role involves improving client experience, enhancing Capital One's market presence, and executing go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a sales team, working closely with segment leadership and relationship managers.
• Communicate and influence key stakeholders on treasury management strategies and initiatives.
• Contribute to the overall treasury management strategy, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Manage sales initiatives, including product offerings and marketing strategies.
• Ensure TMCs focus on sales activities to meet or exceed goals.
• Maintain strong client relationships while adhering to regulatory and compliance policies.
• Manage team performance through coaching, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Stay informed about industry trends through trade shows and seminars.
• Assist in designing treasury management services based on market data.
• Cultivate larger prospect relationships regionally and nationally.

Qualifications

Basic:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 8 years in financial services
• At least 6 years of sales experience

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• 8+ years in treasury management or commercial banking
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent
