🚀 Chief Financial Officer

Role Description

The primary function of the Chief Financial Officer is to oversee the financial operations of our nonprofit organization, while maintaining a system of internal controls and accurate financial statements. This role is essential in ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and sustainability as we pursue our community-focused goals. The CFO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. This role requires a strong background in nonprofit accounting, budgeting, and compliance, along with a passion for making a difference.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• Minimum 3–7 years of progressive experience in financial management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, and nonprofit compliance requirements
• Proficiency in financial accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non- financial audiences
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
