🚀 Senior Acquisition Policy Analyst

VTG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Policy Analyst with demonstrated experience ingovernment contracting and acquisition policy , specifically within the Intelligence Community (IC). This role will support a policy team responsible for maintaining, reviewing, and updating acquisition policy aligned with theFederal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) andIC-specific interpretations of it. The positionwillalso support the implementation ofFAR 2.0 and plays a primary role in facilitating a key policy governance board and is located in McLean VA .

Key Responsibilities:

• • Review, interpret, and draft acquisition policychangesin alignment with FAR andIC-specific practices.
  • Support the customer’s preparation for and implementation ofFAR 2.0 updates.
  • Coordinate policy changes through the review and approval process.
  • Conduct review and quality assurance of policy language before final approval and release.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities for a high-levelacquisition governance board .
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure acquisition policies are consistent, up-to-date, and mission-aligned.
  • Provide guidance on policy matters to both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Support the policy team with routine updates, administrative adjustments, and procedural clarifications.

• TS/SCI with poly required
• BS Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal acquisition/contracting policy.
• Demonstrated experience with acquisition policy and interpretation of the FAR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience facilitating governance boards or other senior level approval boards.
