POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Divisional Controller will oversee the finance function for onefinestay, a newly launched vertical within the Exclusive Resorts portfolio. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance professional with deep accounting expertise, including international consolidation, IFRS compliance, and audit experience.
Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Accounting & Reporting
- Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
- Oversee the consolidation of multi-currency international entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP requirements
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies across jurisdictions
- Serve as the primary liaison for local company audits and manage audit readiness and execution
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, and intercompany transactions
- Manage risk exposure related to international transactions and property ownership structures
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the division
- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support strategic decision‑making
- Partner with operational leaders to assess profitability, cost structures, and investment opportunities
Reporting & Systems
- Prepare and deliver accurate and insightful financial reports to senior leadership
- Support the VP, Accounting with consolidated reporting across Exclusive Resorts divisions
- Optimize financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and data integrity
- Collaborate with marketing, guest experience, and property management teams to align financial goals
- Implement internal controls tailored to hospitality operations
- Manage and mentor a small, high‑performing finance team across multiple locations, including international
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and service‑minded financial stewardship
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including international consolidation
- Audit experience at a professional services firm (e.g., Big Four or equivalent)
- International entity consolidation and IFRS reporting
- Hospitality, real estate, or luxury service experience is a plus
- Strong technical accounting background in multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus), and advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to travel internationally
