Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Provost & Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Morris Brown College, located in Atlanta, GA. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing academic programs, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and promoting faculty development. Responsibilities include developing and implementing academic policies, managing budgets, and leading curriculum planning. The Provost & Senior Vice President will also work closely with the President and other senior leaders to align academic initiatives with the overall mission and strategic goals of the college.

Qualifications

• Academic leadership experience, strategic planning, and policy development skills
• Experience in curriculum planning, faculty development, and accreditation compliance
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Administrative experience in budget management and resource allocation
• PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education
• Understanding of liberal arts education and its role in student development
