Job Summary

Under the supervision of the COO, the director of operations oversees management of all regional operations to deliver services in a cost effective manner with maximum quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages regional practice managers to ensure that each service line is produced in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Provides day-to-day leadership and management that reflects the company’s mission and core values.
• Collaborates with the senior management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel to support growth objectives.
• Ensures standards for service quality, equipment, and personnel performance to maximize revenues. Recommends and implements regional improvements and efficiencies.
• Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas; alerts senior management of cost and labor utilization; makes recommendations and implements solutions.
• Directs regional practice managers on issues including quality, safety, scheduling, training, and service errors; ensures adherence to company policy and fair practices.
• Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
• Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
• Ensures regional practice managers hire, train, develop and appraise staff; takes corrective action as necessary and in accordance with policy; coordinates with human resources as appropriate.
• Stays up-to-date on information and technology affecting the function to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures while supporting a culture of high quality and customer service.
• Performs other duties as necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
