We're seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth and client acquisition within the construction and design-build space. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on building long-term relationships and developing strategic opportunities across industrial, manufacturing, food & beverage, and mission-critical markets.
You’ll have full support from a top-tier national contractor known for its innovative approach, best-in-class team culture, and turnkey project delivery. From day one, you’ll have the autonomy, tools, and leadership access to make a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand company presence in target markets
- Analyze market trends and economic factors impacting key construction sectors
- Partner with marketing, project management, and operations to coordinate proposals and presentations
- Represent the company at trade shows, associations, and client events
- Travel as needed (up to 40%)

Qualifications
- 5-10 years of business development experience within construction or design-build environments
- Proven success generating new business and expanding market share nationally
- Direct sales experience within food & beverage, manufacturing, or data center sectors preferred
- Strong knowledge of design-build delivery and client development processes
- Proficient with CRM tools such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or Pipedrive
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
