We're seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth and client acquisition within the construction and design-build space. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on building long-term relationships and developing strategic opportunities across industrial, manufacturing, food & beverage, and mission-critical markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand company presence in target markets
  • Analyze market trends and economic factors impacting key construction sectors
  • Partner with marketing, project management, and operations to coordinate proposals and presentations
  • Represent the company at trade shows, associations, and client events
  • Travel as needed (up to 40%)

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of business development experience within construction or design-build environments
  • Proven success generating new business and expanding market share nationally
  • Direct sales experience within food & beverage, manufacturing, or data center sectors preferred
  • Strong knowledge of design-build delivery and client development processes
  • Proficient with CRM tools such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or Pipedrive
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
