Position Summary

The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability for the property. This role drives business from corporate, group, and leisure segments, and maintains strong relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans aligned with the property’s business goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, group, government, and leisure segments.
  • Manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and ensure long‑term client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with operation and revenue management teams to optimize pricing, packages, and promotions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and performance data to adjust strategies proactively.
  • Represent the property at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and revenue analyses.
  • Oversee digital marketing, social media, and public relations initiatives in coordination with marketing partners.
  • Maintain compliance with brand standards and uphold high service and presentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of progressive sales experience in hospitality, real estate, or commercial property management.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of local market dynamics and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
