Job Overview

As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for the performance and development of all sales team members in the assigned geography, achieving revenue and operating expense budgets while building a world‑class sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth through a territory manager group and achieve sales growth targets.
• Manage operating expense budgets, ensuring expense growth is slower than sales growth.
• Provide guidance on pricing and profitability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing territory managers.
• Hold territory managers accountable for sales plans, customer base expansion, and profitable growth.
• Develop strategic plans aligned with the company’s annual plan and adjust as market conditions evolve.
• Analyze competitive landscape, customer channels, and economic conditions to inform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience in wholesale distribution or a comparable field.
• Proven track record of leading teams to exceed sales goals.
• Strong coaching and development skills.
• Strong wholesale distribution background.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Executive presence and motivation‑building ability.
• Strategic planning, financial acumen, and data‑driven decision making.
• Road warrior mentality and readiness for travel.

Compensation

$140,000 – $160,000 base with an annual incentive opportunity of 20%.
