Daily Duties

• Prepare accurate construction and project cost estimates from conceptual design through closeout.
• Obtain quotes for materials and equipment.
• Provide support in price negotiations and reconciliations.
• Submit alternates and cost‑saving ideas for proposed electrical systems.
• Review field change orders for quantities, material take‑off, and compliance with current material pricing, labor rates, and contract mark‑ups.
• Maintain historic project costs and data for budgeting and reference.
• Support the development of various cost estimating deliverables throughout the construction lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction field.
• 15 years of experience providing cost estimating support on large public facilities or infrastructure projects.
• Experience estimating projects utilizing alternative delivery methods such as CM/GC.
• Strong skills in cost analysis, change‑order evaluation, and negotiation.
• Must have U.S. citizenship or a valid work visa.
• Proficiency in OST or Bluebeam; HCSS experience is a plus.

Compensation

$ /hour. Both part‑time and full‑time positions are available.
