Job Description

About the Role

Lead and scale the estimating function for industrial construction projects. Manage Senior Estimators, standardize tools/SOPs, and drive accurate, competitive bids from RFQ through handoff.

What You’ll Do

• Own go/no-go, scoping, site walks, takeoffs, pricing, risk reviews, proposals, and handoff.
• Build and enforce estimating SOPs, templates, and cost/labor databases (shop & field).
• Coach and manage Sr. Estimators; balance workload and deliver on deadlines.
• Partner with Operations, Fabrication, Field, and CAD/BIM on constructability and means/methods.
• Maintain pursuit pipeline, hit-rate, and estimate-to-actual variance metrics.

What You Bring

• 10+ years estimating industrial projects.
• Leadership managing estimating teams and high-volume bid calendars.
• Fluency with P knowledge of weld procedures, NDE, QA/QC.
• Strong vendor/sub relationships and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with takeoff/estimating tools (e.g., Bluebeam; Sage/Timberline, HeavyBid, ProEst; Excel).
