Job Title: Part Time Senior Civil Engineer
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. located in Atlanta, GA. This is a part‑time position.
Base Pay Range
$43.00/hr – $57.00/hr (salary will be discussed with manager in interview)
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance.
- Team Coordination: Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, local and remote, to meet project objectives.
- Innovative Design Solutions: Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost‑effective engineering solutions to complex challenges.
- Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering learning and growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects meet industry standards, codes, environmental regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future growth.
- Budgeting and Scheduling: Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling for timely, budget‑conscious delivery.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control and assurance reviews on engineering designs and documentation.
- Industry Expertise: Stay current with trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for innovative project solutions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, including land development, site design, commercial, office, higher education, mixed‑use, residential, healthcare, and municipal projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, lead design teams, control budgets and schedules, interface with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff.
- In‑depth knowledge of state and local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting.
- Proficiency with civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, report writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Experience in Metro Atlanta and ability to lead complex projects simultaneously.
