🚀 Professional Engineer (Electrical QA/QC - BGE)

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC of electrical design packages
• Review and sign PE plans for designs
• Prepare field notes, engineering/construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates
• Stay current on BGE and industry electrical design standards
• Collaborate with and mentor design teams on best practices and standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Deep understanding of BGE systems, electrical design standards, and quality control processes; ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with design teams
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with BGE systems
• Maryland Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Strong knowledge of electrical utility design standards and ability to manage designs from concept through construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients and governmental agencies
• Proficiency in MicroStation and Small World GIS

Compensation

• $50.00-$68.00/hour (equal to $104,000-$141,440 annually)
• Position eligible for overtime
• Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company
