🚀 Adult and/or Med/Peds Hematologist

The Medical Sciences Institute at Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI seeks an enthusiastic and collegial faculty member to join our multidisciplinary team and provide patient care and support services for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders, including clinical consultation within our diagnostic laboratories.

As a federally funded hemophilia treatment center (HTC), Versiti’s Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders (CCBD) provides diagnosis and ongoing medical and supportive care for patients who are born with, or acquire, a bleeding or clotting disorder across the lifespan. The duties include care of adult and possibly pediatric patients with hemophilia, severe von Willebrand disease, and rare coagulation disorders, as well as opportunities for administrative leadership, clinical research, teaching, and mentoring trainees from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Clinical service responsibilities will involve medical care of non‑malignant hematologic disorders, focusing on bleeding disorders, in outpatient and inpatient settings, and serving as a clinical consultant for our diagnostic laboratories. Clinical consultants work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality diagnostic care, develop new assays, advise on strategic planning, and consult external providers. The specific area of involvement can be tailored to the applicant’s interests.

Applicants must be board‑certified or eligible in hematology and will engage in departmental career development programs with a strong focus on mentorship.
