Clinical Pharmacist (REMOTE)
Our national non-profit healthcare client seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to support utilization management programs and pharmacy operations in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate brings a stable work history, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to balance detail-oriented case review with collaborative teamwork. This role calls for excellent communication, organizational skills, and the confidence to provide both peer consultation and customer-facing support while ensuring compliance and quality standards are consistently met.

This role is fully remote and candidates must be located in the following states: AL, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, or WI.

• Review and process pharmacy prior authorization requests, ensuring alignment with benefits, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide peer-to-peer clinical consultations and pharmacy-related customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee support staff in utilization management activities, maintaining compliance with industry and contractual standards.
• Contribute to formulary management, drug utilization initiatives, and implementation of new clinical programs.
• Support operations through training, issue resolution, workflow improvement, and occasional rotational weekend/holiday coverage.

Clinical Pharmacist (REMOTE) Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical experience or completion of an accredited residency program.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state (MTM certification desirable).
• Experience in managed care, pharmacy operations, or supervising technical staff preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with proficiency in standard office software.
