Bringing together development; alumni and stakeholder engagement; marketing and communications; and advancement operations, we advance the UW’s impact by developing meaningful connections that foster pride, advocacy and philanthropic support.**r a Director for Planned Giving.This is a full-time, permanent position.**Meet performance metrics related to substantive contacts, major gift qualifications, solicitations and total dollars raised.Set annual performance goals in consultation with the Senior Director for Planned Giving and provide quarterly status reports to the Assistant Vice President for Planned Giving.Other duties as assigned Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in planned or major gifts or related field. **Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.**Familiarity with laws related to charitable trusts, gifts annuities, real estate gifts and income, gift and estate taxes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for generating correspondence, special reports, spreadsheets and design/photography software and applications.Ability to work evening and weekend hours, as necessary, on limited occasions. ### BenefitsThere are many perks to working for the University of Washington.
