A Day in the Life
The Associate Territory Manager 2 (ATM 2) will partner with the field sales and clinical teams and act as a resource in markets to drive sales, cover cases, lead in-service activities, and support expansion and growth within our business. The ATM 2 will report directly to the District Manager and support specific territories and business initiatives in tandem with Territory Managers. Additionally, the ATM 2 may be required to work outside primary territory assignments as required by business conditions and travel will be a consideration at varied times throughout the fiscal year.
This is a field based role. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team, required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver\'s license is essential for this role, which also involves travel outside the territory, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.
Responsibilities
- Promotes and sells Medtronic\'s Neurovascular products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including interventionalists, nurses, contracting and key opinion leaders.
- Pursues leads, assesses needs, and sells products to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic\'s Neurovascular products and/or services.
- Provides clinical and technical support during cases and informs the clinician of patient treatment options.
- Promotes and provides education of the company\'s products and/or services to staff and physicians.
- Executes company sales/marketing strategy and manages the sales process for the territory.
- Responds to customer inquiries and product complaints and files all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner per Medtronic policy.
- Develops and executes a strategic account plan to grow and defend sales in the territory (accounts).
- Projects a professional company image in the field and at any company-sponsored event.
- Manages all inventory systems as described by Medtronic policy.
- Utilizes Salesforce (C360) on a regular cadence for planning, forecasting, and sharing information with internal business associates.
- Uses software resources available.
- Ability to provide weekend and emergent case support as needed.
- Identifies mutual opportunities and supports customer relationships with other Medtronic business units.
- Identifies targets and measures growth on a quarterly basis (DM/ATM/TM).
- Maintains high level of communication with business partners (TM, CS, DM).
- Manages assigned geography within allocated expense budget. Submits expense reports and pays Company credit card on time per Medtronic policy.
- Uses MBOs for sales development.
- Completes a thorough analysis of key target accounts. Responsible for generating and following up on sales leads.

Qualifications
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor\'s degree
Nice to Have
- 2+ years medical device sales experience
- Clinical experience in the interventional suite and/or hospital environment
- Experience selling high physician preference medical devices, preferably in the endovascular and/or neurovascular space (catheter-based)
- Recognized sales professional with a proven track record of results in medical sales and training
- Experience using Salesforce (CRM systems) for business planning and forecasting
- 50% domestic travel and ability to relocate in 2-3 years (territory-specific)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (product bags).
Must have a valid driver\'s license and active vehicle insurance policy. Driving record will be reviewed as part of the application. Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel.

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): 100,000. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and certain California locations. The offered rate complies with regulations and may vary based on experience, education, market conditions, and location. This information pertains to candidates hired within the United States.
The position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) with potential for significant incentive compensation.
