Senior Principal, Strategic Finance & Analytics

Overview

Client is seeking a finance and strategy leader to join our Stays Supply Strategic Finance and Analytics team. This team drives growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand high-quality supply within Client’s marketplace. The Senior Principal will collaborate cross-functionally across Revenue Operations, Field Operations, Data Science, Finance, Advanced Analytics, and Product Marketing to synthesize insights, conduct rigorous financial analysis, develop go‑to‑market strategies, and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Recommendations

• Develop data‑driven insights and actionable recommendations based on hands‑on analytics, financial modeling, and strategic analyses.
• Synthesize data and insights from multiple sources into clear, compelling recommendations that influence key business decisions.
• Create business cases for new initiatives with an investor mindset and help leadership prioritize strategic investments and resource allocation.

Business Strategy & Growth Enablement

• Support the development of business strategy and drive outcomes across Client’s Host communities.
• Build a deep understanding of growth and efficiency drivers across the business and translate insights into executable actions.
• Partner with senior leadership to implement scalable strategies that enhance supply growth and operational excellence.

Opportunity Identification & Evaluation

• Identify step‑change opportunities by partnering with key stakeholders to uncover areas of high impact through quantitative analysis, industry benchmarking, and competitive research.
• Evaluate proposed company initiatives for feasibility and potential ROI; perform rapid and accurate opportunity sizing to inform strategic prioritization.
• Serve as an internal consultant, advising executives on risks, opportunities, and trade‑offs to enable well‑informed decisions.

Operational Excellence & Performance Management

• Partner with business units to enhance operational rigor through KPI development, performance dashboards, OKRs, and progress tracking.
• Monitor performance across existing growth levels and ensure accountability in driving measurable improvements in revenue operations, product, and marketing functions.

• New Opportunities – Identify and assess new growth opportunities to drive incremental revenue and profitability.
• Supply Insights – Analyze and evaluate initiatives to determine feasibility, impact, and prioritization; communicate findings through concise, executive‑ready narratives.
• Operational Excellence – Drive structured performance management across teams, optimizing growth levers and ensuring consistent execution.
