The Head of E-Commerce is responsible for leading and executing the digital commerce strategy for Ravensburger North America. This role oversees both B2B digital key accounts (such as Amazon and other large-scale digital marketplaces) and D2C channels (Ravensburger’s direct-to-consumer platforms and marketplaces). The position carries full accountability for sales growth, profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction in digital commerce, while ensuring alignment with Ravensburger Group’s global strategy.

The Head of E-Commerce will manage a team of 10, providing leadership, coaching, and clear direction to maximize performance and deliver ambitious growth goals. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and networking skills, both internally across departments and externally with key partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developand implement the North America e-commerce strategy in alignment withcorporate and sales objectives.
  • Defineand track goals and KPIs across both B2B and D2C channels, ensuringcontinuous improvement and sustainable growth.
  • Serveas the primary point of leadership for all digital commerce initiatives,representing e-commerce within the senior leadership team.
  • Buildand maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales,Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT) and external partners (retailers,platforms, agencies).

Team & People Management

  • Lead ateam of ~10, including two Key Account Managers (B2B and D2C) as directreports.
  • Overseefunctional experts across performance marketing, content & itemlisting, customer service, and operations.
  • Championa high-performance culture that drives accountability, collaboration, andinnovation across the eCommerce organization to accelerate growth andoperational excellence.
  • Identifytalent needs, support career development, and ensure organizationaleffectiveness.

Commercial Ownership

  • Driverevenue and profitability across Amazon, other online retail partners, andRavensburger’s D2C platforms.
  • Partnerwith cross-functional teams to ensure pricing, promotions, and supplychain execution meet strategic goals.
  • Negotiatewith key digital partners and ensure optimal trade terms.
  • Maintaina strong understanding of Amazon’s backend requirements (e.g., content,logistics, compliance) to effectively collaborate with operations andaccount teams.

Operational & Digital Excellence

  • Overseedigital shelf management, ensuring all product listings, assets, andcontent meet best-in-class standards.
  • Leverageanalytics and performance marketing to maximize ROI and customeracquisition.
  • Ensurecustomer service quality standards are met and continuously improved.
  • Partnerwith Global DTC and Development teams to drive optimization of D2Cplatforms and integrations, improving user experience, conversion, andcustomer retention.
  • Provideoversight and strategic input into backend operations, includingsingle-pick shipping and fulfillment processes.
  • Maintainworking knowledge of key web platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento,Bloomreach, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and digital tools (e.g., analyticsdashboards, SAP, PIM systems).
  • Collaborateclosely with IT and digital teams to ensure platform stability,scalability, and integration with business systems.
  • Stayinformed on emerging technologies and trends in e-commerce infrastructureand digital marketing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in digital commerce, with leadership responsibilities across both B2B and D2C.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth on Amazon and/or other large e-commerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, SEO/SEM, digital merchandising, and e-commerce operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-functional teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Strong internal and external networking capabilities, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • A clearunderstanding of backend e-commerce infrastructure and logistics processes, including fulfillment strategy, platform integrations, and operational optimization to ensure efficient, scalable order flow and customer delivery performance.

  • Regular travel required to Ravensburger North America HQ in Portsmouth, NH.

Salary Range- $150,000-$200,000 base with annual incentives
