Manager, Alumni Workforce Operations

The target hiring range for this position is $75,662.75-$82,338.88 .

Position Summary:

The Manager of Alumni Workforce Operations leads the execution, and continuous improvement of processes that connect alumni to career advancement, professional development, and workforce mobility opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of alumni services. The manager will act as a systems thinker—improving alumni engagement, developing scalable solutions, and helping Nightingale College become a national leader in alumni workforce development.

Role and Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Development

  • Lead the design and implementation of the Alumni Career Pathway Mapping Project, creating digital blueprints to guide nurses from bedside to leadership and retirement.
  • Launch and scale the National Alumni Mentorship Network, enabling peer‑to‑peer, specialty‑based, and cross‑regional mentoring aligned with career stages.
  • Build and manage the Workforce Mobility Exchange Platform, connecting alumni to relocation support, regional job opportunities, and employer‑sponsored advancement.

Operation Enablement & Systems Alignment

  • Audit and redesign alumni‑facing workflows (e.g., job matching, credential tracking, employer referrals) to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement repeatable systems that support credential advancement, career mobility, and regional workforce alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including IT, analytics, transformation office, learner experience—to align systems, workflows, and data strategies that support alumni career mobility and engagement.

Alumni Engagement & Lifecycle Strategy

  • Develop engagement strategies tailored to alumni career stages: Transition to Practice, Mid‑Career Growth, Leadership, and Retirement.
  • Facilitate alumni journey mapping to identify barriers and motivators to career progression.
  • Create feedback loops through focus groups, coaching cohorts, and advisory boards to inform program design.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, engagement strategy, or workforce development.
  • Proven success in improving business processes or program effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive change.

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
