Role Overview

The Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence & Business Enablement drives enterprise AI strategy, implementation, and governance, overseeing initiatives that enhance productivity, decision‑making, and automation through Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, and Microsoft Fabric integration. This leader is accountable for advancing AI enablement, operationalizing the Corporate AI Committee, and driving measurable ROI through enterprise‑wide deployment of intelligent automation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the organization’s enterprise AI strategy aligned with business goals and innovation roadmap.
  • Drive implementation of Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, and other generative AI platforms to enhance workflows.
  • Identify and prioritize high‑impact AI use cases in collaboration with functional and technology leaders.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and deploy AI‑driven solutions that improve automation, member experience, and insight generation.
  • Lead the Corporate AI Committee to establish governance, policies, and ethical frameworks for AI deployment.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to align AI initiatives with regulatory and privacy standards.
  • Track and report AI adoption, risk posture, and performance metrics to the CIO and executive leadership.
  • Design and implement enterprise AI literacy and enablement programs.
  • Establish KPIs to track AI adoption, ROI, and productivity gains.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation and learning through success stories and internal showcases.
  • Develop and refine AI proofs‑of‑concept and prototypes leveraging Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, and Microsoft Fabric data assets.
  • Mentor engineers, analysts, and business leaders in prompt engineering, automation, and applied AI.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Software and Data teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and data platforms.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.

Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive experience implementing AI, ML, or intelligent automation at enterprise scale.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Azure AI, OpenAI integrations, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, ethics, and AI compliance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage cross‑functional programs and translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this full‑time position in Irvine, CA is $195,600 – $244,500 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at the company’s discretion on an individual basis.
