Program Overview

Join Peraton in advancing the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) through the FAA’s Business, National Airspace, and Technical Computing Services (BNATCS) contract. As a trusted partner to the Federal Aviation Administration, we help deliver the systems and services that keep our nation's skies safe and connected.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Compliance Manager to oversee compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory assurance activities in support of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs. In this role, you will ensure full adherence to FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and other applicable federal and corporate standards, managing internal audits, developing compliance policies, and supporting continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regulatory compliance and audit readiness for all FAA‑related business operations.
  • Ensure full adherence to FAR, DFARS, FAA AMS, and company compliance policies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
  • Conduct internal audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure continuous compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors, regulatory agencies, and FAA oversight teams.
  • Provide guidance on contract interpretation, cost allowability, and pricing compliance.
  • Lead training and awareness programs on compliance requirements across teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, subcontracting, and program management.
  • Monitor and report on compliance performance, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure documentation is audit‑ready, transparent, and aligned with government and FAA standards.
  • Collaborate with Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Program Management to support ethical business operations and accurate reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop targeted compliance remediation plans.
  • Maintain audit‑ready documentation and implement corrective action systems.

Why This Role Matters

Government compliance is the cornerstone of every FAA modernization and operational initiative. As a Government Compliance Manager, your leadership ensures that every contract, procurement, and financial process adheres to federal integrity and transparency requirements. You will directly influence the FAA’s ability to maintain public trust, prevent risk exposure, and execute programs with accountability and precision, supporting the mission to keep the nation's airspace safe, secure, and efficient.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 10+ years of government compliance, contracts, or audit management experience within a federal contracting environment.

  • Demonstrated success managing government audits, incurred cost submissions, and compliance reviews.
  • Experience with cost accounting standards (CAS) and DCAA/DCMA audit practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement internal control frameworks.
  • Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience leading cross‑functional compliance and audit teams.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition, contract administration, and financial reporting standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM, CFE, CPA, or CFCM.
  • Experience supporting FAA NextGen or other large‑scale federal modernization initiatives.
