Role Overview

We are seeking a sharp, execution-focused Head of Finance to lead Exobiosphere’s financial operations and play a central role in driving capital strategy and investor relations. This role combines high-level financial oversight with hands‑on execution across fundraising, term sheet negotiations, and investor engagement. Ideal for a senior finance professional who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments and can move seamlessly between models, investor decks, and legal diligence.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Controls:

Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, including budgeting, cash flow, accounting oversight, and grant compliance.

Coordinate with Luxembourg finance team to ensure global alignment on reporting and compliance.

Ensure all financials are audit‑ready and aligned with institutional investor expectations.

Partner with the CEO to lead the end‑to‑end capital raising process: strategy, targeting, outreach, negotiation, and close.

Develop investor narratives, pitch decks, and supporting financial models.

Build and maintain investor pipelines; manage Carta, dataroom, and diligence checklists.

Coordinate timelines for anchor investor sequencing, syndicate construction, and term sheet alignment.

Investor Relations:

Serve as lead contact for analysts, associates, and GPs across top‑tier VC and strategic funds.

Pre‑brief leadership for all investor meetings and prepare follow‑up materials.

Orchestrate investor roadshows, in‑person meetings, and milestone‑driven updates.

Manage ongoing investor reporting and relationship development.

Legal & Transaction Management:

Coordinate with external counsel on fundraising, term sheets, convertibles, and board actions.

Track legal and regulatory obligations tied to grant funding and equity financing.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.

10+ years experience in finance, investor relations, or capital markets roles, ideally within a high‑growth or venture‑backed company.

Direct experience supporting or leading multiple equity financings (Series A and beyond). W

Deep understanding of startup capital structures, cap tables, SAFEs, and venture funding mechanics.

Strong written, analytical, and communication skills.

Highly organized, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in parallel.

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Must be willing to work in person.

Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
