About the Team

New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers beyond restaurant delivery. Our Catalog, Fulfillment, and Logistics team has three major mandates: onboarding merchants, fulfilling orders with speed & accuracy, and improving our logistics network. You will own metrics, pull operational & product levers, and drive impactful results across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail businesses.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Associate Manager to join our Logistics pod to drive meaningful improvements to cost, efficiency, and quality initiatives. You’ll lead a small, agile pod focusing on uncovering actionable insights and driving measurable impact—without waiting for perfect data or a full product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and design creative solutions to improve cost, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, collaborating with Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers.
• Own and deliver on improving key selection and fulfillment metrics (dasher cost, fulfillment cost per order, cancellations, consumer satisfaction).
• Execute initiatives end‑to‑end with high degree of ownership.

What You’ll Bring

• 4‑6+ years of experience in high‑performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups).
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
• Track record of solving problems from first principles and driving innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Operative mindset: comfortable diving into details while thinking long‑term.

Compensation

The starting pay will fall within the range below. Base salary is location‑dependent. In addition to base salary, this role includes equity grants. Talk to the recruiter for more information. Range: $98,600‑$145,000 USD
