The primary role of the IT Project Manager is to provide tactical management, administration, and leadership throughout project teams. Assist MIS Manager with business requirements, including business process definition, workflow design, and system resource allocation.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide business/technical expertise and guidance ensuring compliance with local and regional strategy and direction.
• Develop a project plan delivered within agreed tolerances of time/budget.
• Work in partnership with business and technical stakeholders including Consumer & Commercial, Cash Management services, Debit card and ATM card, Helpdesk, Network Administration.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams delivering technology projects focusing on software projects.
• Liaise with computer and software vendors and other users to ensure support for MIS objectives.
• Establish and implement system policies, procedures, and standards ensuring conformance to FirstBank information system objectives.
• Deploy new products and services in conjunction with MIS to facilitate institutional business growth and customer service levels.
• Clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes, determine extent of programming involved.
• Compile documentation of program development and revisions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems required.

Work Experience

8-10 years of related business experience (project manager and/or equivalent).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Management / relationships skills
• Good customer focus, attitude and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• A thorough understanding of Project Life Cycle management controls.
• Experience in Software Deployments and respective Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to manage and delegate work as part of a team in a matrix environment.
• Project Management Software experience is required.
