Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrols in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents and provide peace of mind. You will engage with individuals in a courteous and professional manner, delivering exceptional customer service. • Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm and problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any unusual activities, observations, or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with team members and site management to address security‑related concerns within the financial institution environment.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and support as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.

• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
