This Senior Linux Systems Engineer position is 100% Onsite and NOT open for Remote. Company Will Sponsor Visas! Company Will Relocate Candidates!

Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with technology and business teams on all aspects of a global trading and research infrastructure.
2. Research and implement enhancements to infrastructure systems as well as automation and monitoring.
3. Explore and work with industry leading technology and hardware.
4. Work alongside industry experts in the fields of finance and technology.
5. Lead/mentor junior team members.
6. Take ownership of and lead projects from start to finish including design, roll out, and testing.
7. Work on challenging and dynamic problems in a team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

1. Past or present experience in the trading industry or at an exchange is required.
2. Low-Latency experience is required for this role.
3. 5+ years of experience with systems engineering oriented tasks.
4. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
5. Strong Linux experience working with Linux servers in bare metal and virtualized environments.
6. Experience with scripting languages bash and Python and automation tools.
7. Understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
8. Financial or trading industry experience preferred.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Must be willing to take ownership and lead others.
11. Problem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and “outside of the box” thinkers.
