Position
Front End Manager (Full Time)
Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for all aspects of the administrative and clerical store operations.
- Work closely with the store management team and Store Support Center to ensure accurate payroll and human resource reporting.
- Manage the front end, including POS registers/cashiers, service desk associates, layaway, cash office functions, front end cleanliness, organization, and detailed standards.
- Ensure line control efficiencies for a fast and friendly checkout experience for customers.
- Review all reports daily; bring any issues immediately to the attention of the Store Manager and Loss Prevention.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed, understood and executed by all team members, improving front end efficiencies by hiring high-energy team members with the right skill set and attitude.
- Handle all customer issues to ensure an excellent shopping experience.
- Work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, following Forman Mills’ written policy, procedures, training materials and directives.
- Ability to perform basic math functions for register operations, making change and conducting inventory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs routinely and up to 70 lbs on occasion, with adequate fitness to meet frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and repetitive lifting demands (reasonable accommodation available).
