Location: Omaha, NE | Onsite, 5 days a week

Salary: $115,000 – $125,000 per year plus benefits

Capstone IT is partnering with a nationally recognized insurance and financial services provider to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer . This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions in a collaborative Agile environment. You’ll help modernize core systems using a contemporary Java and React tech stack—building scalable microservices, optimizing data workflows, leveraging cloud technologies, and driving digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

This is a direct placement role with the client and will require onsite work 5 days per week . We are unable to work with C2C candidates, provide sponsorship now or in the future, or provide contract opportunities for this role.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Have 7–10 years of full stack Java development experience.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency with Java 8+, including Streams and Lambdas.
• Be experienced with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch frameworks.
• Build and maintain React applications with HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI libraries.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and scalable microservices architectures.
• Apply secure authentication frameworks (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Work with JPA/Hibernate, SQL optimization, and caching for performance tuning.
• Utilize AWS cloud services for application hosting, deployment, and integration.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Git.
• Write automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, or JMockit.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver maintainable, high-quality software.
• Support event-driven systems using Kafka or similar technologies.
• Be familiar with DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices.
• NativeScript experience is a plus.
