🚀 AWS Cloud Data Engineer

Stratacent is seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Engineer with expertise in the AWS ecosystem, PySpark, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using PySpark, integrating with AWS Step Functions.
• Develop and implement complex business logic to process and transform data from dynamic and diverse sources, including Snowflake and other cloud-native platforms.
• Build robust and efficient APIs in Python for seamless data integration and communication between services.
• Handle ingestion, transformation, and storage of structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON, Parquet) within the AWS ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency, integrity, and reliability across AWS services (S3, EC2, DynamoDB, Glue).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Maintain best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security in a cloud-based environment.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience with PySpark and integration with AWS Step Functions.
• Experience creating business logic for dynamic cloud data sources (e.g., Snowflake).
• Hands‑on experience developing APIs using Python.
• Experience working with JSON and Parquet files within AWS.
• Strong fundamentals in the AWS data ecosystem (S3, EC2, DynamoDB, Glue).
