Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager for key clients in the area to deliver quality projects.
• Work collaboratively with the Highway, Hydraulics and Utility Business classes to promote high quality project delivery.
• Work with the Business Development Lead, Client Service Lead and Highway Section leadership to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of key projects to support a positive client experience.
• Promote the marketing and delivery of HDR services within the highway business class.
• Develop and implement market sector growth initiatives in partnership with leadership and client service managers.
• Support in developing current and future client/project managers in support of winning and executing work for the highway business class.
• Work with pursuit teams to develop client and pursuit strategies based on proven capture techniques.
• Participate in industry associations and community organizations to elevate HDR's brand in target markets.
• Develop relationships with leadership in key client organizations.
• Engage the appropriate project management and technical talent in pursuit teams.
• Support pursuit teams in developing persuasive proposal and interview materials.
• Recognize and celebrate pursuit successes and milestones.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Located in or willing to relocate to the Denver office.
• A minimum of 10 years in highways, roads, and streets design experience.
• Experience in leading and developing multi-discipline teams and proposals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 7 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
