Job Overview

A new robotics startup company based out of San Francisco is looking to hire 10 technical Data Collectors to help them collect data for a robot they're designing. This position requires the physical endurance and ability to be on your feet all day and the arm & finger dexterity to control large robotic equipment. It also requires technical computer knowledge to read software diagnostics and report robot errors through a computer. They need 5 Data Collectors on the day shift (8am - 4:30pm) and 5 on the evening shift (4pm - 12:30am). They will be assigned a new site location to perform the data collection around the San Francisco bay area every 1-2 weeks, so candidates need to be comfortable with the flexibility of location change.

Required Skills and Experience

• Teleoperation experience (the process of controlling a machine or robot from a distance, where a human operator uses a control interface to send commands to a remote device)
• Physical endurance and ability to be standing on your feet for the entirety of an 8‑hour shift
• Technical ability with computers to read software diagnostics and report robot errors through a computer

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Previous experience with robotics, AI, or machine learning
