Leidos is seeking a Junior Energy Advisor to join our Hawaiâi Energy program teamâs efforts in empowering our community to achieve the stateâs clean energy goals.

Exciting opportunity to join a team of Energy Advisors executing Hawaii Energyâs incentive programs and advisory services to businesses to accelerate the implementation of energyâefficiency projects. The Junior Energy Advisor will work closely with key customers to overcome barriers to implementing energy efficiency projects and will be responsible for developing customer and contractor relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to electric customers to drive early adoption of energy efficiency and conservation measures.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted Energy Advisor for commercial customers looking to participate in energy efficiency, energy conservation, and energy management.
- Become a subject matter expert on Hawaiâi Energyâs programs and processes, energyâefficient technologies, energy management, and industry trends.
- Assist commercial customers in identifying energy efficiency and conservation opportunities at their facilities through calls, site visits, and utility/other data analyses in coordination with the internal engineering team.
- Promote Hawaiâi Energyâs programs through outreach and relationshipâbuilding with customers, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify barriers to participation in energy efficiency or energy management for commercial customers and develop solutions to increase participation in Hawaiâi Energyâs programs.
- Coordinate and conduct trainings and presentations on Hawaiâi Energy programs, incentives, or other topics to industry organizations, customer senior management, contractors, etc.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking projects and customer engagement.
- Collect and prepare documentation for incentives from customers and/or contractors including conducting inspections to verify energy efficiency project installations.
- Occasional travel to neighboring islands and working nights and weekends at public events may be required.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelorâs degree minimum requirement. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Basic understanding of the energy industry with the ability to become a subject matter expert.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including effectively presenting complex and/or technical information to a wide audience.
- Possess a clientâfirst attitude and be a relentless internal client champion with demonstrated experience building and managing relationships to reach a shared objective and drive toward desired business outcomes.
- Selfâstarter and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driverâs license and vehicle to meet with customers and conduct site visits as required.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering or related sciences field.
- Passionate about and committed to the Hawaiâi Energy mission and our goals.
- Experience with energy model and simulation development.
- CEM, LEED AP, or other energy and sustainability certifications.
- Skilled with Microsoft Excel worksheets and pivot tables.
- Skilled with using Salesforce for customer relationship management reporting.
- Experience in data analytics and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Pay Range: $50,050.00 â $90,475.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
