Pay: $20-$22 per hour (based on experience & credentials)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday

About The Learning Experience

The Learning Experience – Bushwick is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead 2’s Teacher to lead our classroom for 2-year-old children. Our center offers a high-quality early childhood education environment where toddlers explore, discover, and grow through play-based learning and individualized attention. If you’re passionate about guiding young learners in a dynamic daycare or preschool setting in Brooklyn, NY, this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the classroom for children approximately age 2, ensuring a safe , nurturing , and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, fostering social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Mentor and guide assistant teachers and co-teach to maintain high classroom standards.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with families through daily communication, updates, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with New York State Early Childhood regulations and center licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) , or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; OR at least 5 years of professional experience working with young children plus high school diploma.
• Prior experience managing or leading a toddler or preschool classroom preferred.
• Familiarity with developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for toddlers.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must meet applicable New York State early childhood educator or center teacher requirements.
