Adobe Firefly Applied Science & Machine Learning (ASML) group is looking for research scientists and engineers working on generative AI models for image and video synthesis, especially video generation, to help us build the next generation of creative tools. We seek candidates with strong expertise, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and hands-on industrial research experience.

As an Applied Scientist at Adobe, you will join an outstanding team of researchers building the future of digital experiences, developing novel ideas to enhance Adobe's products and reach millions worldwide!

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct innovative research and development in Generative AI
2. Develop and transfer novel technologies to Adobe products
3. Research and develop large-scale foundation models in Generative AI
4. Collaborate with researchers and engineers to bring research ideas to production
5. Convert research ideas/papers into code using Python and ML toolkits
6. Provide technical mentorship and guidance

What you'll need to succeed

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related fields
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork
• Experience with state-of-the-art Generative AI technologies such as GANs and diffusion models
• Hands-on experience with image/video generation and editing
• Experience with large-scale generative model training
• Preferred: experience working with large datasets and technology transfer with product teams
• Good publication record in CS, AI/ML or related fields

Compensation & Additional Information

The U.S. pay range for this position is $120,700 -- $228,600 annually, varying by location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Salaries for sales roles include TTC (base + commission), while non-sales roles include base salary plus annual incentives. Some roles may be eligible for long-term incentives via equity awards.
