Director of Continuing Pharmacy Education About the position The Director of Continuing Pharmacy Education at LIU Pharmacy is responsible foroverseeing the administrative, operational, and programmatic aspects of continuingeducation for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. This role involves strategic planning,program development, and collaboration to enhance the reach and impact of LIUPharmacy's educational offerings, both online and in-person. The director will lead effortsto innovate and expand the professional education catalog while ensuring compliance withquality standards. Responsibilities ⢠Define and implement the strategic vision, goals, and plans for online andprofessional education. ⢠Drive expansion of LIU Pharmacy's online and professional education catalog. ⢠Provide vision and leadership for teaching pedagogies and learning systems foradult learners. ⢠Direct all facets of online delivery, including management, strategic planning, andbudgeting. ⢠Create evaluation and assessment methods for professional education programs. ⢠Uphold ACPE quality standards for teaching and learning. ⢠Seek educational grants for innovative online and in-person activities. ⢠Coordinate with campus partners on continuing education opportunities. Requirements ⢠5+ years in administrative or academic leadership roles. ⢠Licensed or qualified for licensure as a Pharmacist. Nice-to-haves ⢠Credentials for a faculty appointment. ⢠A strong vision for market-driven continuing education activities. ⢠Knowledge of adult learners and technology-enhanced learning. ⢠Experience with strategic planning and high-quality program development. ⢠Knowledge of online learning challenges for students and faculty.
Benefits
