Boeing Test & Evaluation is seeking a Mid‑Level Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support BT&E Wire Shops, Systems and Test Labs in Seattle or Tukwila, Washington. A successful candidate will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. We need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
• Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build.
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
• Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
• Lead in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and help document producibility best practices.
• Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
• Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.
• Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
• Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implement lean principles and technologies.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing.
• Prior experience working on the Boeing Manufacturing System.
• Experience using manufacturing tools (PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, GOLDesp).

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
• 3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Experience with space or military electronics.
• Experience in Project management.
• Experience in Work Package Estimating.

Pay Rate Range

Hourly: $58–$62 USD.
