Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and address concerns or questions
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services
• Inspect vehicles for potential issues and maintenance needs
• Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and fluid level checks
• Maintain basic computer knowledge and aptitude
• Keep track of inventory and ensure supplies are available
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Able to learn and follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all services
• Achieve SuperPro certification
• Must have reliable transportation

Essential Functions

• Inspect and replace car lights and wipers
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed
• Inspect/replace engine air filter and cabin air filter
• Add oil to engine as per vehicle specifications
• Remove/rotate/assist with tire rotation services
• Lubricate components of the chassis/driveline
• Perform cooling system and transmission services as needed
• Conduct second checks and callouts to ensure services are complete
• Move between bays to service multiple vehicles
• Handle parts retrieval and service activities in various locations (under hood, under vehicle, catwalk)
• Work for extended periods with arms above head during some tasks
• Move/transport items up to approximately 50 pounds
• Use tools in tight or hard-to-reach areas
• Communicate clearly to ensure services are performed safely and in order

Environment

• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
• Exposure to noise levels
• Hazards include moving parts, electrical exposure, heat, and chemicals
• Atmospheric conditions with fumes, odors, dust, and restricted ventilation may occur
• Work in narrow aisles or catwalks
