🚀 RF Design Engineering Manager

Our client is a leading maker of RF/Microwave components and IMAs/subsystems for defense markets. Based in the Phoenix, AZ area, they are looking for a Lead RF Design Engineer and RF Engineering Manager.

The RF Design Engineer Manager will drive cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class RF, Microwave, and mmW integrated solutions (IMAs). These IMAs will include RF, Power management, Digital, developed on PWB and Mechanical housing. Responsibilities include proposal development, specification definition, design, testing, and characterizing prototypes in the lab. The role also involves presenting design results and participating in design reviews. This position plays a critical role in managing high-performance RF teams, driving customer presentations, and shaping the technology roadmap. The RF Design Manager is also a hands-on contributor working autonomously under limited supervision. Exposure to defense applications, including responsibility for technical proposals, prototypes to production, performance, customer presentations, schedule, and cost management, is desired. The candidate should have expert knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures related to the assigned product or program.

Requirements include a BS degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's or PhD is preferred.
