Salary Range: $82,000 – $164,000 USD
What You Will Do
- Requirements capture and ASIC / FPGA digital architecture design using RTL, timing closure, verification, and system integration
- Recommend new tools and practices for continuous improvement in the group’s ASIC / FPGA design flow
- Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits
- Provide technical leadership for project design teams by breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status
Qualifications You Must Have
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
- Active and transferable SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
- RTL coding and simulation in VHDL or Verilog
- Digital circuit architecture, design trade‑offs, timing analysis and closure
- Testbench development for RTL verification using VHDL or SystemVerilog
- Proficiency with ASIC and/or FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (e.g., Modelsim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado)
- Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools such as Git or Subversion
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with chip‑level verification techniques and languages (e.g., constrained random, functional coverage, SystemVerilog)
- ASIC / FPGA lab validation with advanced lab equipment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with a matrixed engineering team
- Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability expertise
- Experience with Unix, scripting, C/C++, and/or Perl
