  • Lead schematic capture, component selection, and layout reviews.

Prototyping and validation

  • Select and test commercial RF components and data transceivers (Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular etc.)
  • Build and test prototype boards; perform RF measurements including S-parameters, noise figure, linearity, and phase noise.
  • Perform board bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.
  • Work closely with the product development team to define validation plans and ensure performance compliance.

System-level optimization

  • Integrate RF front ends with digital and power subsystems; mitigate EMI/EMC issues.
  • Support antenna design and matching, as well as system-level RF link budget and performance analysis.

Documentation and production

  • Support product upgrades
  • Generate design documentation, BOMs, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners for DFM/DFT and production ramp-up.
  • Maintain design documentation, revision control, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards (EMC, FCC, ISO, etc.).

Mentorship and leadership

  • Provide technical guidance to other team members and drive best practices in hardware design and testing.
  • In-field and On-call diagnostic/troubleshooting support during field exercise

U.S. and international travel opportunities to include internal field testing, field support, client demonstrations, and conferences
