Could you be the full‑time onsite Test & Commissioning Field Engineer in Miami, FL, US ?

Responsibilities

  • Leading installation, testing, and commissioning efforts.
  • Preparing Track Allocation access documentation for customer approval.
  • Ensuring adherence to Alstom’s standards, regulatory requirements, and local laws.
  • Verifying and validating system requirements and testing methodologies.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and developing sustainable, effective solutions.
  • Providing transparent communication and reporting within the project team and to customers.
  • Supporting planning, resource allocation, and team development.
  • Delivering regular updates via KPIs and project reports; managing deviations, delays, and challenges impacting field activities.
  • Recording Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), maintaining accurate test sheet logs, and collaborating with System Validation to support punch list closure.
  • Using Installation and T&C processes, tools, and the Test & Commissioning Reference Library to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology (or equivalent), ideally in electronics, electrical, computer, railway, or telecommunications disciplines.
  • Experience or understanding of signalling projects and railway installation/testing processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and telecommunications systems.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with safety and EHS standards.
  • Flexibility and openness to short‑term or extended assignments across locations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to work in field environments, including night shifts.
  • A sharp analytical mind for diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
