Job Title: Senior Radio Frequency Engineer

Location: Multiple Locations (Onsite)

Job Summary

• Join our client’s team as a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer, where you’ll be instrumental in designing and optimizing wireless communication systems for utility networks. This role involves working with Land Mobile Radio (LMR), private LTE (pLTE), Microwave, and Narrowband technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the RF engineering lifecycle, from site surveys to deployment and optimization.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for LMR and Microwave technologies, offering technical guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry vendors to enhance communication systems.
• Provide technical advisory and consulting services to support business development.
• Occasionally travel to client sites for inspections, testing, and meetings.
• Develop proposals and implementation plans for projects.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 11 years in wireless communications, with utility experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of RF design principles and wireless technologies like LMR, Microwave, and LTE.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex RF problems.
• Experience with configuring and testing wireless systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• At least 11 years of related work experience.
