MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day Shift: 7a - 7:30p, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including six weekend shifts per six-week schedule.
Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks to support staff according to their qualifications and competencies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures along with compliance with state regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of experience in telemetry nursing.
