Presbyterian is looking for a dedicated CVOR Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons by preparing instruments and ensuring the operating room is safe and organized during procedures. Play a crucial role in maximizing patient safety by working under the supervision of surgeons in our state-of-the-art operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate superior knowledge of advanced surgical equipment and instruments.
  • Exhibit leadership abilities and coordinate effective use of personnel and materials.
  • Develop and organize continuing education topics.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking.
  • Perform accurate instrument counts and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and assist with monitoring.
  • Handle specimens according to proper protocols.
  • Stay current on anatomy/physiology and intraoperative medications.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in various advanced surgical procedures including Neurosurgery, Pediatric ENT, transplants, robotics, and more.
  • Strong familiarity with surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an operating room, unless trained in an accredited program.
