The Emergency Room is looking for a registered nurse to join the night shift.
This position offers the option of 36 or 48 hours per week.
First-time travelers are welcome.
A minimum of 1 year of ER experience is required.
The patient ratio is 1:4.
Travelers are expected to float to similar units based on facility needs.
Daily census in the unit is approximately 60 patients.
The unit has 17 beds and provides care for various age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
The unit treats a range of emergencies, including trauma, head injuries, and neurological cases.
Skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and IV management are essential.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.
Travelers will receive brief orientation on the unit upon arrival.
