Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and direct all activities between diagnostic testing and nursing staff.
- Monitor and maintain high-quality patient care standards.
- Provide operations coordination and professional leadership.
- Assist physicians in prioritizing workflow and resolving issues.
- Promote staff professional growth and development.
- Ensure safe care and adherence to evidence-based practice procedures.
- Develop policies and procedures for departmental areas.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to perform imaging on patients of all ages with various conditions.
- Proficiency in departmental operations and resource management.
- Commitment to quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Five (5) years of prior experience as an imaging technologist in an acute hospital setting.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
- Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M).
