Job Location: Portland ME 04102
Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Day or Evening 12 Hour Shift
Years of Experience:

• 3 Years PACU experience with recent years.

Float Requirements:

• Yes. Will float to client PACU/IMC/ICU. Candidate MUST FLOAST AS NEEDED.

Education & Certifications Required:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Online Education Modules.
• As well as unit orientation based upon employee need.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 40 pre post beds 9 overnight bays (23-hour short stay embedded).
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 Phase 1 Care (up to 3-4 in 23-hour stay).
• Equipment: IV PUMPS, PCAS, Epidurals, A lines, Tele Monitoring, TEE/CV.
• EMR: Epic.

Hiring Profile:
Must Have Skills/Experience:

• Must be able to read tele strips.
• Pre-Operative and Post Operative; ICU experience required.
• Pre and Post Procedure TEE/CV/ CATH/EP OR Procedures.
• Cardiac Drips, IVS, Tele Monitory, PH 1 Care, Groin management, EKGS.
• Must have Trauma Level 1 Experience.
• Must have Prior Travel Experience.
• Call requirements.

Type of Patients on Unit: Cath/EP/ TEE Cardioversion OR procedures Pre-Post Vascular, Robotic TAVRS, Pediatric CATHs.
Personality Fit: Team player, Excellent communication skills and flexible, Can-Do Attitude.
Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Any. Fragrance Free.
• Any unacceptable attire: Artificial Nails, Cell phone use.

Misc./Other Information:

• Weekend Call Requirements.
