Experience: Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.
License: High School/GED and completion of a Surgical Technologist Program, Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist, or a Client sponsored Apprentice II Program or ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech.
Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
Must-Have:
- Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Description:
As a member of the healthcare team, you will collaborate with the surgical team to provide care for patients.
Your focus will ensure that the goals of the patients are met.
You will perform procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and skills.
You will demonstrate a higher level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to surgical patient care.
Other duties will be assigned as needed.
This position requires availability for specific schedules and no requests for time off during holidays.
